This
update contains several new features and improvements as well as bug
fixes, and is an official localized version. This release includes
all previous updates for EDIUS v4 software.
Note:
This package can only upgrade an existing system. That is, you will
need to have installed a previous version of EDIUS Pro/EDIUS Broadcast
v4.xx software. If you are installing on a fresh system, you will
need to first install from your original CD-ROM/DVD-ROM and then apply
this update. You will also need to have your security dongle inserted.
Important
Note: XDCAM, XDCAM EX, DVCPRO, P2 and Infinity JPEG 2000 functions
are only supported with EDIUS Broadcast software. Grass Valley Infinity
JPEG 2000 import, and K2 GXF support requires a new EDIUS Broadcast
dongle. Please contact your nearest Grass Valley office if you purchased
an EDIUS Broadcast product prior to 08/07/2007 and require K2 GXF
support or Infinity JPEG 2000 import support.
