STHIK
Our products are designed to: Gently feed the different crush pad equipment (destemmer, sorting table, press...) with a high quality harvest. Minimize labor forces and simplify the whole process compared to using plastic boxes. When used in mechanical harvesting, allow to separate juices during the transportation and to drain while discharging in order to obtain a better utilization of the destemmer or the presses.
Manual Harvest
S.B.-B.V. & B.H.-B.V. : REAR TIPPING (LIFT) TRAILER with VIBRATING DISCHARGE
Objective : To feed a destemmer or a sorting table without damaging the grapes
No damage to the grapes
Perfectly controlled discharge
Variable output controlled thanks to tipping action
Draining the juices (machine harvested grapes)
S.B. & B.H. : REAR TIPPING (LIFT) TRAILER
Objective : 2 to 3 tons capacity: trailers (width as narrow as 3’8 ) are designed to enter vineyards to pick up hand harvested grapes and discharge directly into larger bins or hoppers at the end of the vineyards rows. Larger capacities up to 5 Tons are designed to gather mechanically harvested grapes for discharge into trucks or hoppers. with limited damage to the harvest. When used with a hopper situated above ground, this type of trailer offers during harvest a very high flexibility to adapt to every situation a complete and easy storage at the end of the harvest.
H.E. : HOTTE HYDRAULIQUE ELEVATRICE
E.V.O. & V.O. : (LIFT) TRAILER with SLOW ROTATING DISCHARGING AUGER
Objective : The EVO model is designed to transport grapes and discharge them with a constant input (and in the case of mechanical harvesting without juices) to the destemmer or the sorting table, or directly into the press without the need of a conveyor or a pump.
Asymetrical bin for better integration of the harvest into the screw
Wider discharge opening (best result for hand harvesting)
Hydraulic variable speed drive with reverse
Sthik elevating frame comining stability and power
Option :
Hooks, cover support & food grade cover
690 ? 1100 Liters stainless steel draining and storage juice tray (for machine harvested whites)
Stainless steel draining juice tray
T.R.V. : VIBRATING HOPPER for HALF-TON BINS
Objective : Transfer grapes from half-ton bins to destemmers or inspection tables with a constant and variable output
Avoid pitch-fork or bucket grapes
Perfectly controlled discharge
Variable output controlled thanks to tipping action
Easy to Clean
Hopper Capacity : 1000 liters (264 gal) or 2000 liters (530 gal)
Adjustable Discharge Height : Chassis made to order
Mounted on wheels (Transportation by forklift)
Mechanic harvest

F.B.P. : TRAILER with ELLIPTIC PUMP
Most current uses : Feeding of press of machine harvested whites Feeding of tank of machine harvested and destemmed reds The harvest is discharged thanks to a 300mm screw linked to an elliptical pump with an output of set up between 15 and 60 tons per hour. For trailers purposes, elliptical pump offers strong advantages compared to helicoidal pump because of its much larger diameter auger :
A much slower rotation of the auger of about 40 to 60 rpm lowering the damage to the grapes and/or berries.
The use of a wider auger allow to limit any « bridge » effect.
Elliptical pumps are more resistant to unwanted metallic or woody parts of the harvest.
D.L. : SIDE TIPPING (LIFT) TRAILERS
Most current uses : To transport the grapes from the harvesting machine and discharge them into hoppers while limiting the damage to the harvest
Shallow bin to avoid crushing of grapes and improve control of discharge
Strong and stable lifting frame: no need for stabilizers when trailer lifted
Low center of gravity
Very stable on road and easy to manipulate
Automatic hydraulic side shutter to facilitate unloading
Hoppers
HOPPER with 400mm AUGER
C.F.P. : Shallow Bin Hopper
Most current uses : ground level (B.H.) or underfloor (B.P.)
C.G.C. High Capacity Hopper
Most current uses : Theses hoppers operate with the following tipping trailers
C.P.: Inclined Hopper
Most current uses : underfloor (B.P. – D.L.) or ground level (B.H.) Destemmer feeding without loss of level
Asymetrical Bin to avoid « Bridge Effect »
Dimensions on Demand
LIFT HOPPER with DISCHARGING SCREW
Goal : Sthik manufactures lifting hoppers intended to wineries which require the utmost care to the fruit and where space dedicated the cruching process is scarce.
TIPPING HOPPER with VIBRATING DISCHARGE
Goal : To feed a destemmer or a sorting table without damaging grapes
No damage to the grapes
Perfectly controlled discharge
Variable output controlled thanks to tipping action
Draining juices (machine harvested grapes)
The patented and innovative technology of our hopper has been awarded in France “Trophée Bronze Innovation VINITECH 2006 & Citation SIVAL 2006”, and in Spain “Innovación Técnica ENOMAQ 2004”. It combines tipping with vibration. The tipping and vibrating hopper associates a fixed bin with a vibrating discharge spout. The goal is to preserve the harvest from any mechanical action (as opposed to hoppers with auger). We have therefore used the gravity to convey the harvest into the vibrating spout which is designed to regulate the discharge and output of the hopper. The variation of the output stems from the variation of the tipping grade. Bin depth is reduced to avoid any grapes compaction or crushing. The tipping and vibrating hopper can process manual harvest as well as mechanical harvest. It carries an efficient draining device. Cleaning is fast & easy and maintenance is very limited.
